Services for Patrons with Disabilities: Social Work Library

Staff Assistance
Social Work Library staff are available at the library service desk to provide assistance as needed to all patrons.

Building Entrance
Enter the School of Social Work building at the corner of East University and South University (ground level). The
doors are equipped with automatic access. An elevator in the lobby area will take patrons to the lower level where the Social Work Library is located. (See map)

Facility Space and Equipment
All facilities are wheelchair accessible, including study space. There is a Tele Sensory viewer available for the visually impaired which enlarges the typeface of printed text. There is also an ergo-assistive workstation for individuals in need of software designed for blind and visually impaired computer users. Further information about the Ergopod is available.

Other blue lot disabled spaces can be found in the Church Street (south entrance) and Forest Street lots. There are a few guest disabled metered parking spaces on South University.

Restrooms
Restrooms equipped with stalls and fixtures designed for wheelchair access are located on the lower level of the School of Social Work building. (See map)
